When you stopped skating, anxiety
spiked in his gut, especially when you fell to your knees, your arms over your
chest. All the things that could cause such a posture flew through his
head and he was moving before he even realized what he was doing.
“____-chan!” He called, his shoes sliding on the ice as he hurried across it.“Are you okay? Did you hurt
something?”You looked up at him and your face was
red. “Er…” You fretted, glancing down at her chest then up at him.It took Yuuri an embarrassingly long
time to realize what had happened. To be fair, he couldn’t really see
your chest, since you were hunched over and guarding it, but still.
“Oh!” His face flushed, embarrassed for himself more than you. He
hated the idea of seeing you in a way you didn’t give him permission to.
“Something happened to your costume?”You nodded, swallowing heavy. “I
think I might be wearing it wrong… and… well… You can see.”“I can’t see!” Yuuri blurted, but he
was already shrugging out of his jacket. “D-Don’t worry. Put this
on…”He set the jacket on your shoulders,
turning his eyes away as you pulled it on and held it closed over your
chest. He helped you up, keeping his eyes trained away so you could zip
the jacket up and cover yourself properly.“I’m sorry,” you sighed, your hands
falling away from the zipper.Yuuri smiled, relaxing as you
relaxed. Once you were safely zipped, he took you by the arms and pulled
you against him gently, leaning to kiss your forehead. “Better now than
in a competition?”You laughed a little and cuddled into
him. “True.”Yuri Plisetsky
He saw it, way too clearly, and now he
couldn’t unsee it, no matter how hard he pressed the heels of his hands against
his eyes. He didn’t have to see you to know that you were crouched in the
middle of the ice, protecting your chest.He was well aware of what his face
looked like, the blasting heat was enough to tell him that. And
against his better judgement and will, he just kept seeing that flash of skin
over and over again. He didn’t want to be that guy – how was he
supposed to forget? He was a man damn it!“Yuri… could you, um, bring me
something to cover up… please?” Your tone of voice told him that you knew
that he knew just went on, or at least that you could guess considering
how he was currently trying to scoop out his eyeballs from their sockets.“Oh hell,” Yuri grumbled. He
wanted to blame you – after all, it was your fault you’d picked a costume so
flimsy, and it was your fault you had all those lovely curve—no, no,
that was definitely not your fault. It was his fault for not being
able to ignore them.Finally removing the pressure from his
eyes, he blinked away the orange-yellow dots that floated across his vision,
and scanned the immediate area for your skating bag. However, when he
couldn’t, realizing you’d locked it up in a locket, he swore quietly and bent
over his bag, rifling through it until he found a spare training shirt.Yuri tried his damnedest not to look too
closely at you as he made his way across the ice. He hated walking on ice
with shoes, he had to be way too careful he didn’t fall and break
something. Plus it was completely unnatural. When he reached you,
he carefully kept his head turned as he thrust the shirt at you.
“Couldn’t find you bag, this will have to do,” he muttered sullenly.You sighed in relief and took the
shirt, quickly pulling it over your head. Once you were covered, you
pushed yourself back to your feet. “It’s okay, you can look now.”Yuri turned his head, but the sight
before him wasn’t much better, because seeing you in his shirt was almost too
much for his heart. He looked away again, covering his mouth with the
back of his hand and wishing his face didn’t feel like it was on fire.
“Get a better costume.”You smiled, leaning up to press a kiss
to his cheek. “Thanks, Yuri.”Viktor Nikiforov
The second he saw you stop and curl in
on yourself, he was panicking. “___!” He shouted, scrambling to get over
the board. All sorts of fears flooded through him as he tried to get to
you – you’d twisted something, maybe broken a toe, or torn a ligament.
Was your chest hurting? You were holding it like there was something
wrong with your chest. Were you having a heart attack? You were
young, but it wasn’t unheard of – what if you had a disease he didn’t know
about? A virus? Were you dying?!He almost fell several times in his
hurry. Fear, icy and sharp, throttled him and he was on his knees,
sliding across the ice the second he was in range. “Solnyshko,
where are you hurt? Is it your chest? Your arm? Are you-”Realizing that he was having a meltdown
from worry, you huffed, looking up at him pink dancing across your
cheeks. “I’m not hurt,” you admitted, setting your teeth against the
embarrassment. “It’s my costume… it… malfunctioned.”It took him a solid five seconds to
realize what you were saying. “Oh!” He exclaimed, blinking rapidly.
Relief was his next prominent emotion, and happiness that you were still
healthy.You were just about to ask him to find
something to cover you with when he started pulling his shirt over his
head. “I’m sorry, if I had realized…” he bit his lip in worry as he held
out his shirt to you.He cursed himself for lack of
forethought. Of course you weren’t hurt, he hadn’t seen anything catch…
if he’d been thinking he would have grabbed his jacket. Not that he
minded giving you the shirt off his back, or was particularly shy about you
seeing him half-naked in the middle of the ice.You swam in his shirt, but it was
definitely better than letting anyone see the unfortunate accident with your
new costume. Just to make sure you were okay, however, Viktor caught you
by the hips and pulled you into his space. “You’re really not hurt?” He
said, nuzzling your temple.He could feel the heat of your skin
against his lips, and it was in direct contrast to the iciness of your hands as
they splayed across his chest. He shivered a bit, but liked having you in
his arms too much to move right at this moment.When you shook your head, he pressed a kiss
against your forehead. “I’m glad.”

- I think that Yurio has a cat-like personality.
- He won’t initiate cuddles first.But he enjoys it.
- He just love relaxing next to his s/o.
- Whenever they stay at his house,Potya will join in the cuddling session too!Sometimes when his s/o is distracted and plays with Potya more he’s secretly jealous.
- He prefers being the little spoon,so that his s/o won’t see his flustered face while cuddling.He also enjoys playing with each other’s hair.Doing braids and such.He doesn’t really like wearing matching pajamas but will do it anyway if it makes his s/o happy.
- Most of the time when his s/o fell asleep on the couch,they’d wake up and see Yurio sleeping soundly next too them with a blanket covering them.

Yuri watched as his s/o took yet another fall hard onto the ice.He was attempting to because patient because he knew skating
wasn’t their thing .It started when they randomly asked him to teach them to ice skate. Unable to say no, Yuri took them to the ice rink where they tried to master the basic ice skating maneuvers.“We can take a break if you want.” He muttered. Normally, he
would have pushed anyone else past their limits but his s/o was an exception as
he didn’t want to hurt them“No, I have to learn,” They gazed at him, determination brimming in their (color) eyes.
It confused Yuri – his s/o having a strange fixation to learn to ice skate even though it was way out of their comfort zone. Curiosity got the best of him as he asked for their reason to want to learn so bad.
It caught him off guard when they explained “It’s because you really love ice skating. I wanted us to have fun together by skating and stuff…” They trailed off, clearly embarrassed by the light shade of pink that adorned their cheeks.
Yuri too became flustered and started skating towards them, “You don’t have to push yourself so hard for me…” He uttered, a light blush apparent on his visage. “I’m fine just watching movies with you or taking a walk with you. As long as we’re spending time together,”Yuri explained- looking away shyly.
“Thank you,” They smiled, and leaned in to touch their lips gently against his own.
I’d like to request headcanons for Viktor, Yuuri, and Yurio on how they feel and react when they first visit their s/o who lives in New York City please!

- Spending time in New York with Viktor would be the greatest experience ever
like 10/10 would recommend- He’s going to be so polite and chipper to the people who are rude to him on the street, kindly ignoring their negative spirits
omfg just imagine someone yelling at him for being in the way and then he’s like “oh my sorry i didn’t think me standing here would be such an inconvenience! my bad! :)”- He’s going to want to do anything and everything New York has to offer, and you’re going to be his tour guide
- Viktor will probably force you to see a Broadway show with him, and you’ll probably end up going to a ballet, too
- He will want to take so many pictures with you everywhere; he’ll post them all on Instagram and share his adventures with the one he loves most

- Yuri mostly wants to just walk the streets with you and show you off, as well as visit all of the fancy and interesting restaurants to try new foods
- He never quite becomes accustomed to the hustle and bustle of New York, but Yuri knows it’s worth it if he can see you

- Bringing this boy to New York would be utter chaos but probably one of the best decisions you could ever make honestly
- He may or may not get into some fights with some passersby, depending on the mood he’s in
lmao but just saying he totally will try to fight with someone if they cross him and it’ll be hilarious probably- The first place he’s gonna want to go is definitely designer clothing stores
- Chanel, Gucci, Prada, you name it and he’s fucking THERE
- Shopping with you and buying you clothes would be the highlight of the visit, not to mention any fashion shows you manage to get into
and let’s be real you’re gonna basically have a new wardrobe by the time he’s through with you lmao- When it comes down to it, he really just likes spending time with you and dressing you up; he’ll surely be visiting you in New York way more often

Yurio:
-Yurio is very subtle about the way he shows his s/o he loves them.
-If somebody ever picks on his s/o, Yurio will fight tooth and nail to defend their honour. At first his s/o thought that it was just Yurio being Yurio and thought nothing of it, but after it happened enough times they finally realised it was because he couldn’t stand to see anyone call his s/o anything less than wonderful.
-Since Yakov is very hard on him in training, he doesn’t have a lot of free time to spend with his s/o. But he loves it if they get up early with him so they can join him for his morning run (it makes training more bearable)
-But when he does have free time, he’ll take his s/o on a walk, and hold their hand tightly as they walk in and out of little shops along the road.
-Yurio also loves to just be next to his s/o. He’s reading a book? His head is on his s/o’s lap or he’s leaning against them. Making coffee in the morning? He’s standing right next to his s/o so their shoulders touch. Even at dinner he’ll pull his chair as close as he can to his s/o so they’re together.
-If for some reason his s/o couldn’t accompany him to a competition, there’ll be a cuddle fest when he gets home. The two of them will just lie together on the couch, as close as possible, and watch TV; just silently appreciating being back in each others arms.
-He doesn’t usually show that much affection when he’s at practice or with the other Russian skaters, but sometimes he’ll let them borrow his jacket if they’re cold, or send Georgi out to the cafe next door to get them a coffee when he’s taking a break.
-If it’s a special occasion Yurio will cook a nice dinner for his s/o as a treat. His Grandfather taught him a lot of delicious recipes, and he wants to put them to good use by cooking for his s/o.
-When they’re on travel at competitions he’ll always make sure to carve some time out to spend with his s/o doing whatever they want to do (no matter how much Yakov screams).
-Before his s/o arrived in Russia and started hanging out at the skating rink, he made the other skaters promise to make them feel at home, and not treat them strange because he didn’t want their first experience in Russia to be a bad one.
-His s/o positively knows that Yurio loves them after he takes them home to meet his grandfather. Yurio is obviously very excited/proud to introduce his s/o to his grandfather, and the meeting goes splendidly. Grandpa Plisetsky accepts Yurio’s s/o right into the family, and tells the pair they’re welcome anytime for piroshki. He’ll never put it in so many words, but he’s over the moon about two of the most important people in his life have finally met and get along.Otabek:
-Otabek, like Yurio, is a man of few words, so sometimes his s/o has to read between the lines to understand what he’s trying to tell them. (Again, subtlety is key)
-He’s big on traditional romantic gestures; like after a hard day at work his s/o will come home to find their favourite meal steaming hot on the dinner table. (It can be the simplest thing like spaghetti or Mac and cheese, but if his s/o likes it, Otabek will prepare it)
-Otabek loves taking his s/o out on the ice; they are the most important person in his life, and he wants them to experience skating; something he holds so dear.
-He loves his s/o so much he will literally do anything for them. They need to travel a long distance because a family member is ill? He will have all their bags (and his) packed and plane tickets secured within two hours. (And if need be he would even drive them no matter how far. Even for the little things; They want to see a movie he has no interest in? (He’d buy the whole theatre out for them if he could) He gets two tickets and loves every minute of seeing how much his s/o is enjoying themselves.
-At competitions he hates leaving his s/o alone, but on the rare occasion he must, Otabek always leaves them with someone like Yuuri, Phichit, Leo, or Guang-Hong (somebody he knows will watch over them and make sure they’re OK in his absence).
-He loves taking his s/o out on his motorbike, even if it’s just for a short ride. Sometimes he’ll bring a picnic lunch, take them up to a scenic overlook, and enjoy the view along with the food.
-Otabek really doesn’t do PDA, occasionally he’ll give kisses, especially if his s/o is saying farewell to him at the airport so he can go to a competition. He hates to leave his s/o without one last goodbye kiss. But at home he’ll give his s/o kisses all the time. He’ll kiss them when he serves dinner, passes them on the way to the kitchen, or as they’re reading a book in bed. It’ll just be fast kisses, sometimes on the cheek or the forehead as well as the lips, and his s/o finds it absolutely adorable and loves receiving every singe one of them.
-He doesn’t really buy his s/o a lot of things, because he doesn’t believe in buying their affection, but occasionally he’ll get his s/o little surprise gifts. Like he found a rare version of an album they like with bonus tracks included at a hole in the wall music place he stumbled into. Or he found a T-Shirt with your favourite TV show characters on it after searching the store for a half an hour.
-Otabek loves cuddles, but only in bed. For whatever reason he just doesn’t do it when him and his s/o are sitting on the couch or anywhere else in the house. (He’ll never tell his s/o, but the reason is because he got in such a habit of holding his s/o close in bed he has a tough time falling asleep without them)
-All the skaters at the competitions Otabek competes at think that him and his s/o are the most lovable couple ever. They also think it’s amusing to see someone who’s usually very quiet and reserved relax and open up around one special person. After his routines Otabek is more interested about talking to his s/o about what they thought of his performance rather than talking to his coach, and everyone else finds this heartwarming.
-His s/o is taken aback when Otabek asks them to go home to Kazakhstan. They know his country means a great deal to him, and it touches his s/o that he wants to bring them there. They spend the vacation there going around to all of Otabek’s favourite spots, and visiting his family. His s/o loves seeing how excited Otabek gets about showing them around; it’s one of the rare occasions they can read his emotion right from his face. Their time in Kazakhstan is the best vacation either of them has ever had.JJ:
-JJ on the other hand wouldn’t know the meaning of subtle if it smacked him in the face.
-Which is totally fine by his s/o, but sometimes it can be a little embarrassing. Like when JJ picked them up from college after he hadn’t seen them for a few weeks; he came with the biggest bouquet of flowers they had ever seen, and immediately started (loudly) professing his love right there on the front lawn in front of the main building.
-He’ll find any excuse to start talking (or bragging) about his s/o. Doesn’t matter what the conversation topic is, he’ll always find some way to make it about them, and start taking about how great they are. (His s/o finds this endearing, even through they’ll never admit it)
-Also, this man SHOWERS his s/o with presents. His s/o says they like a CD that just came out? It’s on the kitchen table the next morning. They like a T-shirt at the mall? It somehow winds up in their closet.
-He is totally into PDA, and will use any excuse to give as many kisses to his s/o as possible.
-JJ is the most supportive person to his s/o. Whatever they do, whether it’s a sport, music, art, or anything else, he’ll be cheering them on the whole way. And if they have any time of concert, show, or game, JJ will always be right in the front row with a big bouquet of flowers for later.
-If his s/o is ever upset, he just holds them tightly in his arms and rubs their back gently, maybe even singing a song quietly to help calm them down. He’ll wipe away the tears if need be, and promise them that they’ll get through this together, and that they’ll always have him to lean on because he’ll never leave their side.
-JJ brings his s/o to every skating event he competes in, and he tries to keep them by his side as much as possible. He also loves taking them on tours in all the cities they visit, making sure to hit all the major landmarks, and dining at all the best restaurants.
-Whenever JJ has down time or a day off, he could just spend all day cuddling in bed with his s/o. He loves having his s/o close to him; when they’re in public he’ll always be holding their hand, or putting his arm around their shoulders (he absolutely loves it when his s/o puts their arms around his arm when they’re walking)
-He always calls his s/o King/Queen/Majesty ect as a pet name because if he’s the king, his s/o is going to be royalty too.
-But by far, his s/o’s favourite gestures had to be during one of JJ’s concerts. He got the crowd to quiet down, and then stared right at his s/o. Without any further words the band started to play a slower song, which JJ had wrote for his s/o. Nobody else would get all the hidden inside jokes that JJ had wrote in, but it made the piece all the more beautiful to his s/o.
