Summary: Peter and the reader experiment to see if he can run faster by trying an energy drink…and he definitely does something risky.
“Hey, Peter! Come in here!” You called as you cracked open the energy drink can.
Papers flew off the kitchen table as your best friend appeared beside you.
“What do you need?” He asked.
You held out the drink and he stared at you quizzically.
“Try it! I wanna see if it can make you run even faster.” You giggled.
He gave you a flirty smile and grabbed the can from your hand. He drank a little over half of the it and when he was done he made a face. “That tastes terrible.”
“I know I’m sorry, but it’s just an experiment.”
“When will I feel it?”
“Soon.” You grinned.
“It’s starting to hit me.” He bounced his leg up and down as he sat in the chair.
“Alright well run and tell me if it’s different! It’s not like I’ll be able to notice. You’re too quick” You laughed.
He nodded and took off. Only milliseconds passed and you felt something soft against your lips. You barely had time to blink and he was back in the kitchen. “I think it might have worked!” He exclaimed.
You narrowed your eyes at him. “So where all did you go?”
“Oh ya know, around the house…up the stairs…”
“Peter, did you kiss me?”
His eyes widened and he stuttered. “W-what? No.”
“You’re definitely fast, but I still felt it.” You smirked.
His face turned red and he looked at his feet. “I was hoping you wouldn’t notice. I’m sorry, I know I shouldn’t have-”
“Don’t apologize.” You grinned. “Come here.”
“Really?” He looked at you with a confused expression and you rolled your eyes.
“Are you going to kiss me for real or what?”
He jumped to his feet and quickly crossed the kitchen, appearing right in front of you. You wrapped your arms around his neck and smiled up at him.
“Maybe I should steal a kiss more often.” He smirked and held your waist.
